Zack Sabre Jr has been pulled from two US shows due to an injury picked up on Germany last weekend. A deep cut which required stitches has not healed in time and rendered him unable to perform. PWG, PWX and the man himself announced that he would not be able to wrestle at this weekend’s events in California and North Carolina where he was was scheduled to defend the PWG Championship against Michael Elgin. Both appearances are touted to be rescheduled but no return date has been provided as of yet. But this is just a minor setback and a speedy recovery is expected. He is scheduled for Revolution Pro Wrestling UK in a highly anticipated match against Kurt Angle on 12th June and the WWE Cruiserweight Classic on 13th July. In a recent and rare interview with Suplex Apparel Sabre Jr., said; “It’s a genuine honour to be apart of a tournament of this kind. The cruiserweight style of wrestling has always had a profound influence on me, so competing alongside such a high standard of international talent’s very special & also being able to represent the British Wrestling scene on a scale of this magnitude’s huge for me”
We at Vulture Hound wish him all the best in his recovery and the best of luck in the WWE Cruiserweight Classic
