The show climaxed in Glasgow on Sunday as the promotions exciting three date tour that reached Manchester on Friday and Birmingham on Saturday, provided fans with must see moments as well as discussions regarding the repercussions.

Now we are Steelchair Magazine aren’t going to provide you with the spoilers but one of the fantastic announcements that came from that night was regarding ‘Square Go’ 2017. For the first time, Square Go’ will be held not just outside Glasgow but outside Scotland, in Newcastle on February 5th 2017.

It should be noted that the ‘Square Go’ almost acts as a gauge for the success of ICW, the first ‘Square Go’ on 22 January 2012 was held in the smaller Classic Grand in Glasgow, the second and third held in Glasgow’s The Garage on 27 January 2013 and 26 January 2014 respectfully, as the Fourth was in O2 ABC also in Glasgow while the Fifth Sold out The Barrowlands last year in January.

To say that shocks occur at this event is an understatement and to say that the winner of The Square Go match itself (an over-the-top-rope battle royal) or the drama that unfolds regarding the winner of the Square Go for the rest of the year is unparalleled. You only just need to look at the house of cards that was built by the incredible NAK that crumbled throughout the years as Dickie Divers and Wolfgang on separate occasions claimed the prize, the winner a shot at the ICW Heavyweight Championship at a time of their choosing. Regardless of what happens, Newcastle the second home of Insane Championship Wrestling, the ‘Square Go’ is coming and bringing with it one hell of a show.
