On August 5th, Ryback (Ryan Reeves) took to social media to confirm that WWE and himself had parted ways, this is what he had to say:

“The Big Guy Ryback would like to wish the WWE the best in their future endeavours, from this point forward, myself and the WWE will no longer be conducting business together. I would like to personally say thank you to all the WWE performers whom I’ve had the pleasure of being in the ring with.

This comment will not come as a surprise to may fans as on May 2nd, 2016, it was reported that WWE had sent Reeves home from television due to a contract dispute, and he did not participate in a Battle Royal match he was promoted for. The next day, he posted an explanation on his personal Tumblr page, confirming that he himself made the decision to go home, and cited a lack of equal pay for talent and creative frustration as primary reasons for his departure.

For the past few months, Ryback has hinted on social media that his displeasure with the WWE and even asked fans if they would like to see him in “The Impact Zone” on Impact Wrestling.

However, there has been no comment from WWE.com on this.
