PROGRESS Chapter 34: Keep it Unreal kicks things off this week on Sunday 14th at the Manchester 02 Ritz, with now two-time PROGRESS Heavyweight Champion “The Villain” Marty Scurll tagging with Jinny in an intergender match against Mark Haskins and Laura DiMatteo (though rumours abound that Scurll will also defend his title in a separate match on the same card). Elsewhere El Ligero faces local talent Jack Gallagher, Dave Mastiff takes on Iestyn Rees and Michael Dante faces Joe Coffey in Atlas tournament matches. In addition, and in what may well be the match of the show, Zack Sabre Jnr collides with Will Ospreay in a true battle of mat-based technical skill pitted against aerial excellence.

Skipping forward to Saturday 20th, IPW:UK present Future #20 at the Snodland Community Centre, where former WWE alumni P J Black (formerly known as Justin Gabriel) faces “Wrecking Ball” Scott Star. The undercard features Pete and Damien Dunne challenging IPW:UK Tag Team Champions Cieran Donnelly and Danny Duggan for their gold and the Future Rumble match.

One day later on Sunday 21st IPW:UK is at the Brixton Electric for what they are literally calling the “Biggest Show Ever”. IPW:UK Champion “The Righteous” Joseph Connors defends against “Smooth” Sammy Smooth, with the London Riots as ringside enforcers. TNA’s EC3 makes his UK indie debut against Zack Gibson, P J Black faces Paul London and in a six-man tag match, Sha Samuels, Kid Fite and Lionheart take on the GZRs (Tom & Sebastian) and a yet to be named mystery partner. Former WWE star Ricardo Rodriguez will also make an appearance at the show.

Sunday 21st also see the Cardiff Walkabout attempt to contain the frenetic insanity that is ATTACK! Pro Wrestling, with (Thank God It’s Not) Winterslam. Only two matches had been announced at the time of writing, but they include a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match between defending ATTACK! Tag Team Champions Bayside High (Mandrews and Nixon Newell) and CCK (Chris Brookes and Lycos). In the other, El Ligero makes his long-awaited ATTACK! Pro return to face “The Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne.
