Friday 23^rd September begins a busy weekend for Britwres, with Discovery Wrestling emanating from the Edinburgh Corn Exchange, with the standout matches being “The Villain” Marty Scurll challenging Discovery Y Division Champion Lewis Girvan for his title and “Iron Man” Joe Coffey meeting NXT regular Tommaso Ciampa.

PCW present Dar Wars at their perennial home of the Evoque nightclub (in Preston, of course) on Saturday 24^th, with what promises to be Noam Dar’s swansong for the company and final appearance in the UK before joining WWE’s Raw. Elsewhere on the card, Saraya Knight faces Viper, Team Single face The UK Hooligans in a TLC match, Dave Mastiff clashes with Japanese hard-hitter Kazma Sakamoto, Zack Sabre Jnr takes on Bubblegum and The London Riots meet the team of Lucha Underground regulars Angelico and Jack Evans.

Also on 24^th, Wolverhampton’s Fixxion Warehouse hosts ATTACK! Pro Wrestling’s ATTACK! Pro’s Not Dead, the main event of the card boasting an encounter between “The Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne and the high-flying Mark Andrews.

Straddling the 24^th and the 25^th, ICW teams up with the MCM Comic Con to put on a pair of shows on each date at the Glasgow SECC. If you’ve never been able to decide whether you loved pro wrestling or all the wonderful aspects of glorious geek culture on show at a Con, then your prayers have been answered and here you can indulge in both over two days.

Rounding out the week on the 25^th will be PROGRESS – Chapter 36: We’re Gonna Need a Bigger Room – Again! Without doubt the biggest show to date for the London-based company, Chapter 36 takes place at the Brixton O2 Academy. On the undercard, Pastor William Eaver meets Sebastian, the team of Laura Di Matteo and Nixon Newell and Pollyanna face Alex Windsor, Dahlia Black and Jinny. The Origin (Dave Mastiff, Zack Gibson, El Ligero and Nathan Cruz) take on Mark Andrews, Eddie Dennis, Jack Gallagher and Damon Moser, with the stipulation that should they lose, the Origin must disband. The London Riots defend the PROGRESS tag titles against British Strong Style (Pete Dunne and Trent Seven). The Atlas Tournament finally comes to an end as Joe Coffey and Rampage Brown clash to determine the inaugural champion for the super-heavyweight division. Zack Sabre Jnr and Tommaso Ciampa meet in a rematch from their encounter at Chapter 24, which will be fought under a best of three falls stipulation. And finally, PROGRESS Heavyweight Champion Marty Scurll will defend in a triple-threat match against heated rivals “The Anti-Hero” Tommy End and Mark Haskins.
