Two of the most instantly recognisable and influential men in US professional wrestling share the stage at the Islington Academy Hall on Wednesday 5th as Inside the Ropes Presents: Jim Ross & Jim Cornette – The Rise of the Attitude Era. Anyone interested in arguably the most popular era in the history of wrestling, or indeed in any aspect of industry will find this an unrepeatable experience. Tickets are also available for an exclusive meet and greet and autograph session with the talent.

October 6th sees Newcastle’s Northumbria Student Union 2 host WCPW: Refuse to Lose, boasting the incredible presence of former WWE and TNA World Champion Kurt Angle, Cody Rhodes meeting “The Anarchist” Doug Williams in his first ever UK indie appearance and ROH Champion Jay Lethal defending his title against El Ligero. VIP meet and greet packages featuring Angle and Rhodes are available and the undercard features such WCPW regulars as Joe Hendry, Joseph Connors, Rampage Brown and Martin Kirby. WCPW will also present a second show on the 7th of October at the same venue, with Cody Rhodes confirmed to appear on that card also.

IPW:UK’s annual Super 8 Tournament takes place over two nights from the 8th to the 9th of October and emanates from the Casino Rooms Nightclub in Rochester. The single elimination match is billed as featuring eight of the most prominent names in British wrestling today, including two former TNA World Heavyweight Champions in the form of Drew Galloway and Nick “Magnus” Aldis. A full card of supporting non-tournament matches is also promised on both nights.

Inside the Ropes are back again on October 9th at the Frog & Bucket Comedy Club in Manchester for An Evening of Smoke and Mirrors with Cody Rhodes. This “evening with” 18-plus event offers the opportunity to hear at first hand the experiences and reflections of this exceptional second-generation athlete as he talks at length about his famous wrestling family, his time in the WWE – as first a part of the Legacy stable and then later as the controversial “Stardust” alongside his equally famous elder brother Dustin “Goldust” Rhodes. Both standard tickets to the event and VIP tickets to the meet and greet portion of the evening are available.
