The Wrestling Forecast – 7th to 13th November 2016

RPW:UK begin the forecast this week, straddling two consecutive nights for Global Wars 2016, their annual show that brings together the very best in Britwres with the top talent that the rest of the wrestling world has to offer. Night one takes place on Thursday 10th and emanates from London’s historic York Hall, night two sees the action move on to the Walthamstow Assembly Hall on Friday 11. British talent confirmed for both nights includes Pete Dunne, Trent Seven, Marty Scurll, Will Ospreay and Zack Sabre Jnr. International talent likewise booked for both events includes Chris Hero, Tetsuya Naito, Evil, Bushi, Sanada, Michael Elgin, Tomohiro Ishii, Tomoaki Honma and the legendary Jushin Liger. Exclusively appearing on the 10th will be Mark Haskins and Tyler Bate, whilst only on the 11th will be Joel Redman, Charlie Garrett and Drew Galloway.
Again, on 11th, BWP return to the unofficial Britwres tradition of punning show names with No Mersey, at the Liverpool dome. Joey Hayes faces his long-time tag partner Danny Hope in singles competition, Zack Gibson meets Dean McManus, Xia Brookside, Lizzy Styles, April Davids and Alexis Rose clash in a four-way match and The Baby-Faced Pitbull puts the BWP Catch Championship on the line against Cyanide.
Saturday 12th sees another woeful pun with HOPE presenting Grand Theft Autumn III at the Dunstable Leisure centre, where the addition of Jack Jester and former ECW, WCW, WWF and TNA Superstar “The Franchise” Shane Douglas to the card.
Also on 12th, in one of the most impressive and unexpected comebacks of recent times in Britwres, 3CW: Encore breathes new life into one of the most important companies of the noughties. Veterans and icons of 3CW such as Dragon Aisu and Darkside return alongside current names like Joseph Connors, Martin Kirby and Prince Ameen as past and present clash.
Rounding out the week on Sunday 13th is ENDVR #19 at the Highbury Garage, where the up-and-coming stars of the PROGRESS Projo wrestling school showcase their talents against the established names of both the main PROGRESS roster and stars form around the British Isles.
