The Knight family begin a busy week for Britwres with two days of taping for the WAW at Epic Studios in Norwich on 16th and 17th, with The Hooligans (Zach and Roy Knight), Nick Aldis (formerly Magnus of TNA fame), Mickie James, Robbie E, Mr Anderson, Lisa Marie (formerly WWE Diva Victoria) and even Scott Hall scheduled to appear over both shows. In addition, the afternoon of the 17th will also see the same venue hosting the all-female Bellatrix 22.
Also straddling two consecutive days is ATTACK! Pro Wrestling’s annual Under The MistleTour celebration of all things both festive and wrestling-related. Night one takes place at Cathays Community Centre in Cardiff on 17th and the next night the action moves on to the Bristol Trinity Centre on 18th. Names announced thus far include Nixon Newell, “White Lightning” Mark Andrews and ATTACK! Pro Wrestling Champion “The Pride of Wales” Eddie Dennis.
PCW round out their recent mini-tour with a date at Flares & Reflex in Bradford on 17th, which marks the company’s Yorkshire debut. Apart from the regular roster of names familiar to the PCW roster, the star attraction is sure to be the presence of former WWE Superstar, the man formerly known as Ryback.
Again on the 17th, NGW return to their regular home of Hull City Hall for Eternal Glory 2016. The Proven (Caz Cash and Sam Wilder) will face a mystery team of opponents, “Liverpool’s No.1” Zach Gibson takes on Rampage Brown, Joseph Connors and Screwface meet Liam Slater and “The Mexican Sensation” El Ligero, and in the main event, “The Showstealer” Nathan Cruz defends the NGW Heavyweight Championship against “The Amazing” Matt Myers. Also scheduled to appear on the card are “Local Hero” Joe Hendry, Bubblegum and Chardonnay.
And finally, the craziest promotion in the Irish Republic crosses the border into Northern Ireland for the very first time, as OTT presents the Belfast Invasion at the Clayton Hotel on 18th. OTT regulars Session Moth Martina, The Gymnasties, The Wards and The Kings of the North will rub shoulders with NJPW and Lucha Underground sensation Ricochet, former WWE superstar Hornswoggle and winner of the 2016 PWG Battle of Los Angeles, “The Villain” Marty Scurll.
