Returning after a fortnight’s hiatus over the holiday period, the forecast finds the first week of 2017 thoroughly dominated by those brash young upstarts from WCPW, with three shows taking place in the space of three days. Kirbymania (named, obviously for the erstwhile Martin Kirby) kicks things off on 5th at the Liverpool Olympia and boasts Cody Rhodes defending the WCPW Internet Title against Zack Sabre Jnr. Next they jump to the Bowlers Exhibition Centre in Manchester on 6th, where Drew Galloway will defend the WCPW Championship against a currently unnamed opponent and Cody Rhodes takes on Ricochet. Finally, WCPW: Reloaded emanates from Domain at the Northumbria Students Union in Newcastle, with an as of yet unannounced card. As usual, WCPW are sparing no expense when it comes to spoiling their fans, with names announced for the three events including Bully Ray, (Lucha Underground superstar) Ivelisse, Joseph Connors, Martin Kirby, Joe Hendry, Johnny Moss, Rampage Brown, Joe and Mark Coffey, Gabriel Kidd, Prince Ameen, The Prospect, El Ligero, Marty Scurll, Tessa Blanchard, Bea Priestley, Jason Prime, Trent Seven, Tyler Bate and legend of the Britwres scene, Doug Williams.

Also on 7th, Brockington College in Leicester plays host to LCW: Regeneration, with Hustle Malone, White Tiger, Ryan Smile and Paul Malen all announced as being in action as the company looks to find stability after its Heavyweight Championship was vacated by Stixx.

Finally on 8th, RPW:UK begins a second year of its residency at the London Cockpit in Marelybone, with a true meeting of the heavyweights, as “The Bastard” Dave Mastiff squares off against one half of Moustache Mountain, in the shape of Tyler Bate.
