UPW mark their second anniversary on 19th at the Weymouth Riviera Hotel, with a show featuring “The Villain” Marty Scurll taking on “Dirty” Dick Riley, Sid Scala tangling with Charleston “Hot Shot” Allen in a Chain Match, The Legion of Lords in tag team action against the team of Johnny Storm and Andy Simmonz and “The Amazon” Ayesha Ray going up against New Zealander Bea Priestly. But the jewel in the crown will be the main event, in which UPW Heavyweight Champion Iestyn Rees defends his belt against the challenge of former WWE, and current TNA, ROH and NJPW Superstar, Cody Rhodes.
Epic Stuidos in Norwich hosts WAW’s Night of Champions 2017 on 19th, in an event where every championship in the company will be on the line. The typically raucous and rambunctious action associated with the Knight Dynasty will be highlighted by a four-man tournament for the vacant WAW British Heavyweight Title and Ricky Knight Jnr defending the WAW Light Openweight Championship against “The Mexican Sensation” El Ligero.
The historic York Hall in Bethnal Green is the venue for RPW:UK’s High Stakes 2017, on 21st, where newly crowned Undisputed British Heavyweight Champion Katsuyori Shibata will be in competition, and former friends and tag-team partners Marty Scurll and Zack Sabre Jnr will collide in an epic grudge match.
IPW:UK take over the Casino Rooms Nightclub in Rochester on 22nd, with a stacked card for Super Show VI. The London Riots take on ROH’s War Machine (Hanson and Raymond Rowe) in what promises to be another bruising encounter between the two teams, Matt Riddle takes on “The Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne, John Morrison clashes with Marty Scurll, and in the main event, “Team Sammy” (“Smooth” Sammy Smooth, Scott Star and Duggan & Donnelly) face “Havoc’s Army” (Jimmy Havoc, Joseph Connors, Zack Sabre Jnr and Tennessee Honey) in an Armed Warfare Match, where two competitors begin in the ring, another enters every three minutes and every competitor is able to bring a weapon of their choice along and make use of it legally.
And finally for this week, FutureShock Uproar #92 takes place at Stockport Masonic Guildhall on 22nd, with the FutureShock Adrenaline Champion, Soner Durson defending against Travis Banks, and “Liverpool’s No 1” Zack Gibson putting the FutureShock Heavyweight Championship on the line against the challenge of Rampage Brown.
