The newest inductee into WWE’s Hall of Fame following Kurt Angle, The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express, and Teddy Long, will be none other than Diamond Dallas Page. He will be inducted into the Class of 2017 during Wrestlemania 33 week on Friday, March 31, at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.

After breaking into Sports Entertainment at 30 years old and in the American Wrestling Association (AWA), His career has had massive highlights such as managing the Fabulous Freebirds, who entered the Hall of Fame in 2016, declining Hulk Hogan’s offer to join WCW’s NWO faction, then later at WCW’s Spring Stampede in 1999 he defeated the trio of Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan and Sting to capture his first WCW World Championship. He even managed to have a title reign in the WWE with the European Championship and successfully defended it at Wrestlemania.

However, his success outside of the ring truly makes DDP stand out. Not only due to his highly praised fitness program DDP Yoga which has helped people stay healthier. But, by also helping his long time mentors, Jake “The Snake” Roberts and Scott Hall get back on their feet by working with them closely to help achieve their goals.

It’s been a long time coming for DDP to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, so we are all so happy now that he has been given the recognition that he deserves. We are all looking forward to the ceremony.
