Canyon Ceman, WWE Vice-President in charge of Talent Development, was in Singapore and Manila last week scouting new talents from the independent scene.
WWE posted a video last Sunday of what is not the first travel of Ceman in Asia. He was spotted with Ryan Katz, Creative Director, three weeks ago at a Malaysian Pro Wrestling Show.

This video reloads the rumor of an WWE Asian Championship Tournament. Even before the launch of the WWE United Kingdom Championship Belt Tournament, held last January in Blackpool, it was widely reported WWE was planning to create a WWE Asia Championship and a WWE Latin Championship.
These tournaments are definitely a good way for WWE to invest local and regional programming as well as building new contents for the WWE Network. And also possibly bringing new talents for NXT for a few of the chosen wrestlers.
