California based promotion PWG (Pro Wrestling Guerrilla) put on their second show of the year last night, Nice Boys (Don’t Play Rock ‘n Roll).

The show featured six bouts and was headlined by a triple threat tag match for the promotions Tag Team Titles. Champions The Young Bucks looked to defend their gold against Ricochet & Matt Sydal and Rey Fenix & Penta el Zero M.

During the last PWG show, Brit Zack Sabre Jr defeated Chuck Taylor and then after the match attacked Taylor along with fellow Brit Marty Scurll. This led to Taylor’s best friend Trent? coming out to make the rescue and the four settled their differences last night in a tag team bout.

PWG bought the heat in the opening but putting two of the biggest men (Brian Cage & Keith Lee) in independent wrestling in the same ring along with Sami Callihan. The Chosen Bros (Jeff Cobb & Matt Riddle) took on OI4k (Dave & Jake Crist) and Lio Rush battled Trevor Lee.
