NGW take over Hull City Hall on 7th with Destiny 2017, a show which will be filmed for television broadcast at a future date and features a 20-man “Destiny Rumble”. Names announced for the show include Matt Myers, Grado, “The Mexican Sensation” El Ligero, Bubblegum, Liam Slater, Joseph Connors, “Liverpool’s No.1” Zack Gibson, Rampage Brown and “Local Hero” Joe Hendry.
Queens Social Club in the Steel City of Sheffield hosts Elite British Wrestling and April Anarchy 2017 on the 8th, consisting of an afternoon matinee and main evening shows. “The Warrior” Paul Malen defends the EBW Catch Championship against LJ Heron, Joseph Connors contests a 4-Way Match against Mikey Van Riot, Dave Deville and King Dangerous, and EBW Heavyweight Champion Joey D puts his title on the line against the challenge of Bubblegum.
Meanwhile on the same night in Mansfield, HOPE present the Kings of Flight 2017 tournament at the Forest Town Arena, over also an afternoon and an evening show. The tournament will feature 16 of the world’s best high-flyers, including Mark Haskins, Jigsaw, Ryan Smile, Chris Tyler, Cara Noir, Ashley Dunne, Chris Ridgeway, Kyle Ashmore, “Flash” Morgan Webster, Kelly Sixx, Jake McKlusky, Ashton Smith, Kip Sabian, Jay Garner and star of Lucha Underground Matt Cross (a.k.a. Son of Havoc).
RPW:UK return to the London Cockpit on 9th, with the only match announced at press time being Chris Brookes and Travis Banks facing the team of Ryan Smile and Shane Strickland (a.k.a. Killshot of Lucha Underground fame).
And finally, OTT are in Belfast on 9th for Road to Scrappermaina at the Mandela Hall, with Drew Galloway, Grado, Polo Promotions, “Iron Man” Joe Coffey, The Gymnasties, The Kings of the North and Session Moth Martina already announced as appearing.
