We had a Cruiserweight Tournament, a UK Tournament,  and now announced today.  The WWE is bringing over a Women’s Tournament to the WWE Network for this summer. The announcement was made as part of “WWE Reimagined” presentation held at a business partner summit in Orlando Florida. The Tournament is expected to have 32 competitors from 17 countries.

Along with Paul “Triple H” Levesque and Stephanie McMahon, WWE superstars Bayley, Alexa Bliss, and Asuka were there to express their feelings towards the event and marking another key moment in their current “Women’s Evolution”.

“Building on our Women’s division, it gives us great pleasure to share in announcing what’s next for WWE,” said Bayley. “For the first time ever, this summer, WWE will feature a Women’s Tournament.”

“I speak on behalf of all of us, not just the champions standing before you today, but the entire Women’s division. It’s truly an honour to be part of another significant movement in WWE history,” Bliss said.

After speaking to the audience in Japanese, Asuka said in English, “I am proud to be part of the Women’s Evolution, representing Japan and WWE.”

The Tournament’s that the WWE Network has presented so far have done an excellent job in highlighting and shining a spotlight on Wrestlers out there today. With another event on the way, it will be interesting to see who will take part and what will happen to the winner after all is said and done.
