We begin this week with NGW taking over the venerable Liverpool Olympia on Friday 5th for Full Force 2017, with talent scheduled to appear including Chardonnay, Justin “The Hammer” Sysum, “The Mexican Sensation” El Ligero, Bubblegum, “The Showstealer” Nathan Cruz and, of course, “Liverpool’s No.1” Zack Gibson.

Southside present a double-header on Saturday 6th, with Day of Reckoning 16 taking place at the Rushcliffe Leisure Centre in Nottingham that afternoon and the 2017 Speed King tournament following on its heels that same evening. Day of Reckoning 16 has been announced as featuring matches in which “Flash” Morgan Webster will meet Lucha Underground star Shane Strickland, Ruby Summers takes on Kay Lee Ray and Hubba Bubba Lucha (the team of Bubblegum and El Ligero) will face Angelico and GBH. Thus far, the only brackets announced for the Speed King tournament are an ultra-high flying clash between Kenny Williams and Robbie X and a mixed gender encounter where Kay Lee Ray will IMPACT Wrestling superstar and former X-Division Champion DJ Z.

Elsewhere on 6th, 4FW look to mark the occasion of their 13th anniversary with Global Takeover 2017, which will take place at the M.E.C.A. in Swindon. Alongside their more familiar roster of UK talent, also appearing will be former WWE, TNA and NJPW superstar MVP and veteran of the US indie scene and the toughest promotions in Japan, Low Ki.

Sunday 7th sees RPW:UK continue their residency at the London Cockpit with the aptly named Live at the Cockpit 15. Only one match had been announced at the time of writing, but as it just so happens to be a singles match pitching the 2016 BOLA winner “The Villain” Marty Scurll against former ROH Champion Kyle O’Reilly, they may not need to do much more in order to sell the thing to most fans.
