ITV and World of Sports Wrestling confirmed today that the tapings of the first series of 10 episodes of the show were postponed due to contract negotiations. They were supposed to take place on May 25th and 26th at Preston Guild Hall. New dates are going to be announced soon, but those who bought tickets can ask to be refunded.

Even if the news broke a few days ago, the reason for this delay was still unknown. It was said not to be an issue of sales but rather a logistical scheduling issue causing the delay. The ten episodes would have started airing in July, and then if ratings were successful, it would become a regular Saturday afternoon program.

Two weeks ago, on Instagram WoS official page, a post teased the announcement of the future roster. The announcement that never happened. A few days ago, Sha Samuels and Dave Mastiff, who were supposed to be a part of the tapings, noted on Twitter they were now available for independent dates that weekend.

Late march, Impact Wrestling and ITV were delighted to announce their collaboration on this new project. Tapings are now expected to take place on July, with episodes airing in the fall.
