WCPW roll into Newcastle-upon-Tyne on 16th to begin this week’s forecast, taking over the O2 Academy to present Built to Destroy 2017, which will be an 18+ only show. The Swords of Essex (Will Ospreay and Scott Wainwright) will defend the WCPW Tag Team Championship against unnamed opponents, and former ROH Champion Jay Lethal will also be in action.
Staying in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, the 17th sees Absolute Wrestling at the NE6 Suite for Fight Forever, where Bete Noir will face Little Miss Roxxie and Nathan Cruz meets Manchester’s Bubblegum. Also scheduled to appear are Amir Jordan, Mikey Whiplash, Liam Slater and “Liverpool’s No.1” Zack Gibson.
Also on 17th, PCW and IPW:UK pull off the doubly impressive feat of bringing wrestling back to the Blackpool Tower Circus and putting on not one, but two free shows whilst doing so. Highlights include a six-man tag match pitting the team of Lionheart, Joey Hayes and Soner Durson against Dave Birch, Arcadian and Chikara star Ophidian, Zack Gibson meeting the opera singing Matthew Brooks, women’s tag action as Saraya Knight and Lucy Cole face Christi Jaynes and Shotzi Blackheart, PCW Tag Team Champions The UK Hooligans (Roy and Zack Knight) clashing with the IPW:UK Tag Team Champions DND (Danny Duggan and Cieran Donnelly), Ashton Smith defending the PCW Cruiserweight Championship against Dean Allmark, Iestyn Rees putting the PCW Heavyweight Championship on the line in an open challenge, and what promises to be a brutal encounter as WWE UK Tournament competitor T-Bone takes on Jimmy Havoc in a street fight.
The Birmingham Collingwood Centre hosts Kamikaze Pro on 17th, for No Fear, where Lana Austin faces Xia Brookside, Kay Jutler meets CZW standout David Starr, and Gabriel Kidd tangles with star of IMPACT! Wrestling Davey Richards. Also scheduled to appear are Clint Margera, Ryan Smile and “The Mexican Sensation” El Ligero.
And finally, Southside arrive at the Bedford Corn Exchange on 18th, with Limitless boasting singles encounters between Bubblegum and Davey Richards, Chris Tyler and Ophidian, Joseph Connors and Chris Ridgeway and also a “7 minutes 34 seconds Iron Man Match” between Alex Gracie and former WWE Superstar Hornswoggle.
