NJPW revealed today on its website the complete line-up of the upcoming “G1 Special in the USA” that would take place on July 1 and 2 in Long Beach, California. The full line-up of matches for July 1 has been announced and a preliminary one for July 2. These two nights will reunite both NJPW, CMLL and ROH talents in the same shows.

This tournament will crown the first-ever IWGP US Heavyweight Champion in a 8-man tournament, not in a robin-round way as announced before. The chosen ones are NJPW Tomohiro Ishii, Tetsuya Naito, Kenny Omega, Juice Robinson and Michael Elgin, NJPW, British promotions and PWG Zack Sabre Jr., ROH and NJPW Hangman Page, and ROH Jay Lethal.

Five NJPW titles will be on the line on the US soil, the IWGP Tag Team and Junior Tag Team Championships, the IWGP Intercontinental Championship, the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, and the new IWGP US Heavyweight Championship.

Both shows will be aired live on NJPW World network, but the July 1 show will be unavailable in the United States until the VOD comes out. In the USA, July 1 show will air live on AXS TV as July 2 show will air on Friday, July 7. Legendary announcer Jim Ross and NJPW on AXS color commentator Josh Barnett will be commenting the action right from ringside.
