Former TNA World Champion Magnus is no longer a member of GFW Impact Wrestling roster. Magnus, whose real name is Nick Aldis, is said to have turned down GFW’s latest contract offer. His last appearance on Impact Wrestling was on April 22 after losing the GFW Global Championship to Alberto El Patron.

Magnus had been apart of TNA since 2008, being a one-time TNA World Champion and a two-time TNA Tag Team Champions, once with Doug Williams and once with Samoa Joe. He was one of the first talents Global Force Wrestling announced they had signed in 2015. He worked there under his real name and held the GFW Global Championship from the beginning of the company until his recent merger with Impact Wrestling.

Magnus also held titles in Japan, in New Japan Pro Wrestling and Pro Wrestling Noah, and India when TNA partnered with Ring Ka King promotion. One place he never wrestled for is WWE, a federation his wife Mickie James is currently a part of.
