After welcoming to NXT former ROH star Kyle O’Reilly and former TNA star Gunner (they debuted on July 12 tapings), WWE is said to be on the way to sign 2 former ROH Superstars, Lio Rush and Donovan Dijak.

@Dizz from The New Age Insiders revealed Dijak was no longer accepting independent bookings. In January 2017, he received a contract offer from WWE but had to refuse due to legal threat from ROH, that still had him under contract. The following month, Dijak opted not to re-sign with ROH, waiting for another contract offer from WWE. Djiak is still announced to be apart of PWG Battle of Los Angeles on September 1 to 3.

Lio Rush announced that his August 5 appearance on CZW will be his last with the promotion. The 22-year-old wrestler was spotted in Orlando 2 weeks ago, let believe he was offered an NXT deal and a signing could be coming in the near future.

Rush talked to Ring Rust Radio about his interest for WWE: “My interest in WWE again is through the roof. For me to not be a part the same conversation with the best cruiserweights in the world with the biggest promotion in the world, it just makes me want to be there that much more.”

WWE is said to also have an eye on other free agents. Former Impact star Crazzy Steve took part in a tryout in June at the Performance Center. He was rumoured to have signed last April but he’s been working for independent promotions ever since. The possibility of him signing with WWE is not over for all that.
