Unlike recent DVD releases from WWE, “Kurt Angle: The Essential Collection” returns back to the format of, no documentary but the Superstar in front of a camera casting their thoughts in-between matches throughout their career in WWE in exclusive Interviews.

I’ll give you the bad news first, for fans hoping to see matches from Angle’s time in TNA, this is not the DVD for you, however, this collection does have 24 of his greatest matches. Some may have been seen in previous DVD outing’s but this is as the Title says, is “The Essential Collection” with lesser known matches provided as well.

The 3-Disc DVD due for the release from 31st July, has 25 exclusive interview segments as he looks back on his debut, right up to his return on RAW, which for Kurt Angle fans will definitely leave them entertained as he discusses his views on his inspiring first year in WWE to Chris Jericho, Stone Cold, Block Lesnar, Triple H and many more.

It’s certainly a feel good outing reflective on the Olympic Gold Medalist’s career as if you grew up watching him from debut as he boasted “The 3 I’s, (you all know what they stand for right”) to his wig that he wore after his head was shaved, to the milk-o-mania moment and damnit there’s so much in this man’s career to detail but it’s here to see. So, get your glass of milk, get your mouth guard, get your medals, practice your ankle locks and shout, “It’s True! It’s Damn True!”.
