After their recent YouTube-related woes, WCPW are back and seem to be looking to make up for lost time as they put on no less than three shows in the space of the same week across the country. They pop up first on 22^nd at the Leeds O2 Academy, with Stacked, where the list of scheduled delights includes Mike Bailey taking on NJPW cruiserweight standout Hiromu Takahashi, his rival KUSHIDA clashing with “The Kiwi Buzzsaw” Travis Banks, ROH stalwarts the Briscoe Brothers meeting the formidable War Machine and the potential classic of Ricochet going up against former WWE, WCW, ECW and Lucha Underground icon Rey Mysterio Jnr.

On 24^th, they arrive in Manchester at the Bowlers Green Exhibition Centre for the final of their Wrestling World Cup, where the brackets for the conclusion of the tournament could include a combination of such names as Ricochet, WXW grappler Bad Bones, Penta El Zero M, Angelico, Will Ospreay, Rey Mysterio, Mike Bailey, Travis Banks, KUSHIDA, Kenny Williams, Jay Lethal, Zack Sabre Jnr, Hiromu Takahashi, Lucky Kid, Michael Elgin and Joe Coffey, with War Machine, Martin Kirby and “Local Hero” Joe Hendry also to appear on the card.

Finally, the internet upstarts reach the Plug nightclub on the 25^th, making their Sheffield debut and recording the matches for two editions of their YouTube show in one night. Names already announced include Bad Bones, Penta El Zero M, KUSHIDA, Angelico, Will Ospreay, Joe Hendry, Zack Sabre Jnr, Ricochet and “The Primate” Jason Prime.

Just to prove that there are other companies holding events worth a look this week, FutureShock are at The Longfield Suite in Prestwich on 25^th for a show to mark the occasion of their thirteenth anniversary. Tyson T-Bone and Rampage Brown meet in a Street Fight, Wonderland defend the FutureShock Tag Team Championship against The Sexy Gents, Soner Durson puts the FutureShock Adrenaline Championship on the line against James Drake, Lana Austin gets a shot at April Davids’s FutureShock Women’s Championship and “Liverpool’s No.1” Zack Gibson defends the FutureShock Heavyweight Championship against local lad Ashton Smith.

Also on the 25^th, BCW are at the Kilmarnock Grand Hall, with a card set to include native talent such as BT Gunn, Wolfgang, Jack Jester, Joe Coffey and Sha Samuels, with the additional attraction of US indie stalwart Colt Cabana and former WWE Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger.

And finally, Kamikaze Pro present two shows on the 26^th from the Collingwood Centre in Birmingham, with Kamikaze Pro Live #8 in the afternoon and Resistance is Futile following that same evening. Names announced for the shows include Chris Ridgeway, Gabriel Kidd, Robbie X, “The Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne and Japanese star Su Yung.
