Unified GFW Knockouts Championship match: Sienna (c) vs Gail Kim

After successfully unifying the GFW and IMPACT Championships at Slammiversary XV, by defeating Rosemary, Sienna raised the bar 2 weeks ago by defeating Rosemary again in a Last Knockout Standing match. But she also infuriated Karen Jarrett with her behaviour and the constant interferences from her cousin KM. Jarrett made the match for Destination X but Sienna’s challenger was revealed to be GFW Hall of Famer Gail Kim. Even if Kim announced she would be retiring by the end of the year, she wants to do it as the Champion.

Ladder match for the GFW X Division Championship: Sonjay Dutt (c) vs. Trevor Lee

Is the man who wears the belt the real Champion? That’s the question this match is going to give us answers on. Ever since Trevor Lee stole the X-Division belt from the real X-Division Champion Sonjay Dutt, the week after Slammiversary XV as Dutt was competing against Caleb Konley, Dutt has been banned by Bruce Prichard from the Impact Zone. Meanwhile Trevor Lee has been wrestling his way the belt around his waist. Two weeks ago, Dutt had to pick up a Mumbai Cat mask to be able to enter the Impact Zone, be able to wrestle and ask for this Ladder match. And the man who will grab the belt will be the real Champion.

2017 GFW Super X-Cup Tournament Finals: Taiji Ishimori vs. Dezmond Xavier

Eight wrestlers were featured in this tournament that haven’t take place for 12 years. Over the last few weeks on IMPACT, we have had the chance to witness high-flying, quick-paced action matches. Whoever the winner of the Cup will be, The Super X-Cup tournament is made to showcase talents from all over the world and prove why the X-Division is the real core of IMPACT Wrestling.

Sydal-Lashley-1

Shot vs. shot match: Matt Sydal vs. Bobby Lashley

Matt Sydal wanted a shot for the GFW X-Division Championship, Lashley wanted a shot for the GFW World Heavyweight Championship. Both requested Bruce Prichard who, instead of giving shots to the two wrestlers, made a match for Destination X. The winner will have his title shot. As seen last week, Sydal and Lashley went “Down and Dirty” and literally jumped on each other. In this David vs. Goliath kind of match, the winner could be totally unexpected, the good way or the bad way.

The debut of oVe

Three weeks ago, the first vignette about oVe coming to GFW was aired. It was revealed they will debut at Destination X. Former ROH and CZW stars Jake and Dave Crist, formerly known as The Irish Airborne or Ohio Is 4 Killers, has been wrestling for 14 years and have a lot to bring to the company. Who are going to be their first opponents? GFW Unified Tag Team Champions LAX would be a good surprise…
