You’ll hear from Low-Ki in the upcoming GFW Impact Wrestling weekly reviews because he took part of some of the Impact tapings last week. But in fact, as PWInsider is reporting, Low-Ki departed GFW over the course of the tapings.

Not so long ago, during an X-Division conference call, Low-Ki was claiming he came back to the company last April because “Global Force is something that I’ve represented for going-on 20 years”. He was also revealing his interest and his involvement in the rebuilding of Impact Wrestling.

But it seems like something has gone wrong in just a few weeks of time. With Alberto El Patron stripped of the GFW Championship, Low-Ki lost his Championship match and his #1 contendership at Destination X. He was announced to be a part of the Gauntlet match that will crown the new GFW Champion, in tomorrow night’s Impact episode, as the last entrant.

Low-Ki was decided to go out of the X-Division system and become a serious contender for the Heavyweight Championship. But it seems like the creative team of the company was decided not to follow his choice. And Low-Ki was not happy with the plans that would lead him to Bound for Glory, the next GFW Impact Wrestling PPV set for November.

This creative issue is one version of the different accounts about the reasons of his departure. Another version is talking about a financial dispute between the wrestler and the company. But whatever the reason was, Low-Ki asked to be released and his departure was “amicable”.
