It was announced during one of the shows of the first set of The Mae Young Classic Tournament, released today on WWE Network, that Kacy Catanzaro and Shadia Bseiso have signed with WWE.

Kacy Catanzaro, 27, is most renown for taking part of NBC television sports challenge show, American Ninja Warrior. “Mighty Kacy” also has made Sports Illustrated’s “Fittest 50” list. She took part of a WWE tryout in January, decided to make the transition from an obstacle competition career to wrestling, like she explained in the video below.

Shadia Bseiso, 31, tried out for WWE in Dubai last April. She’s an accomplished live events presenter based in the United Arab Emirates, trained in radio and TV presenting in London and New York. Bseiso has hosted some of the largest events in the Middle East for major international brands, leading regional corporates and community initiatives for more than ten years, thanks to her company SDB Media.

The Dubai-based athlete also competed in CrossFit games and did some voiceover for movies. In 2014, Bseiso competed in the Abu Dhabi Jiu-Jitsu World Pro Championship and took home the silver in her weight category and bronze in the absolute division. She has a blue belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and is fluent in both Arabic and English.
