HOPE kick off the forecast this week, as they return to the Forest Town Welfare in Mansfield for Evolution 52: Like Miles Davis, I’ve Been Swayed by the Cool. Putting aside the downright silly name that have become a staple for the company, there’s a solid card of talent announced for this one, with the likes of Hustle Malone, “The Mexican Sensation” El Ligero, Cara Noir, “Flash” Morgan Webster and perhaps the hottest tag team in the UK at the moment #CCK scheduled to appear. In addition, former WWE superstar Rene Dupree will meet “The Pride of Wales” Eddie Dennis in singled competition.
We head north to Carlisle on 14th for Target Wrestling’s show at The Venue, where the Wild Boar and Canadian indie sensation “Speedball” Mike Bailey will both make their debuts for the company. Polo Promotions will defend the Target Tag Team Championship against the team of Mikey Whiplash and Screwface, and Martin Kirby, the Target High Octane Division Champion will also be in action on the night.
Back down south on 14th, CSF celebrate twelve years of live wrestling in Weston-Super-Mare at the Hutton Moore Leisure Centre by putting on a show that features notables of the UK wrestling scene such as “The Warrior” Paul Malen and former star of WWE and TNA, Mark Andrews. But alongside them, CSF have also gone to the trouble of bringing in true legend of the hardcore scene and ECW original Sabu for what promises to be a chaotic night of action.
Sabu pops up again on 15th as part of IPW:UK’s Super 8 Tournament at the Angel Centre in Tonbridge, where other entrants in the tournament will include RJ Singh, Luke Phoenix, Britwres veteran Andy Simmonz and “The Bastard” Dave Mastiff.
