Ultima Lucha Tres started last week and what an episode it was! Killshot and Dante Fox gave it all in a bloody and hardcore Three Stages of Hell Match. We continue the Lucha Libre adventure this week with 3 more matches, including a 14-Man Battle Royal for a Unique Opportunity. Which one is it going to be? Nine matches are still on the card of Ultima Lucha Tres, what are the surprises The Believers are going to witness this week?
Doctor Frenchy is telling you all… and it’s starting right now…

The show opened with Ivelisse and Jeremiah Crane arguing in the locker room. She wanted to know who the other woman was. Crane told her he has known her since he was a kid and confessed he is in love with Catrina. Ivelisse said she is going to destroy Catrina tonight and then coming back to destroy Crane. When Crane added a very bad word after telling her to walk away, Ivelisse superkicked him into the toilet door.
Unique Opportunity Battle Royal: Paul London vs. Saltador vs. Mala Suerte vs. Argenis vs. Cortez Castro vs. Son of Madness vs. Vinnie Massaro vs. The Mack vs. Joey Ryan vs. Ricky Mundo vs. PJ Black vs. Mascarita Sagrada vs. Pimpernella Escarlata
The star of the match was the returning Pimpernella Escarlata. The “First Lady of Wrestling” is a veteran luchador who loves to dress as a woman in the ring. And he/she drove Paul London crazy…
They all brawled to begin, the first eliminated was Vinnie Massaro. The Rabbit Tribe tossed Madness to the outside while Ryan and Castro were battling on the apron. Mascarita Sagrada knocked them both for the elimination.
An excited London asked his Rabbit Tribe’s friends to make Pimpernella taste his crotch. But Escarlata bit him right there and eliminated London. Then Mascarita Sagrada eliminated Saltador. Escarlata eliminated himself and Argenis.
The final four came down to PJ Black, Ricky Mundo/Mantel, The Mack, and Mascarita Sagrada. Black quickly eliminated Sagrada. The Mack, who suddenly was present in the match, tried to dropkick PJ out of the ring but eliminated Mantel who was hugging his friend. Black countered a German suplex, from The Mack but not the stunner that helped him eliminate Black.
Dario Cueto got out of his office to tell The Mack what was this “Unique Opportunity” he just earned. He, in fact, earned a shot at the Trios Championship next week against The Reptile Tribe. And his partners will be Killshot and Dante Fox who nothing more than destroyed each other last week. Like Dario said, Killshot and Dante Fox, or whatever is left of them…

Catrina vs. Ivelisse
The feud between the two Luchadoras began at the very beginning of season 3. Ivelisse claimed Catrina ruined her first two Ultima Lucha events matches. The match started with chops from Catrina but quickly got outside. Catrina decided to hide in Dario Cueto’s office, Ivelisse broke the door but Catrina broke three bottles on her back, leaving Ivelisse busted open and bleeding. El Jefe enjoyed every second of it…
The brawl continued in the stairs. Catrina gave her the Lick of Death, but Ivelisse fired back with kicks into the grandstand. Ivelisse connected with a head kick and grabbed a chair to slam Catrina’s face with. Catrina came back to the ring, hit a spear and her L-bomb (double under hook sit out inverted atomic drop) on Ivelisse who refused to surrender.
Catrina then grabbed the box where Mil Muertes left the Stone in. She took the stone in order to use it on Ivelisse. But she was countered by a spine buster from Ivelisse who grabbed the stone. The two Luchadoras fought for the Stone but Ivelisse was able to keep it, hit Catrina with it before connecting with a DDT for the win. What a bloody mess these 2 women offered us. And as it was not enough, Crane made his way to the ring, a hammer in hand, and tried to break Ivelisse’s knee and ankle with it.
Luchas de Apuestas (Hair vs. Mask) Match: Fenix vs. Marty “The Moth” Martinez (w/ Mariposa)
[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rIDdIFeTycE]
Will this match finally end the creepy love feud between Fenix and Marty for the love of Melissa Santos? It had to. If Mariposa was close to her brother, Melissa Santos was taking care of Fenix from her seat. Brawl to start the match with strikes and forearms. Fenix hit a superkick but Mariposa tripped him up to give the advantage to her brother. Marty worked Fenix into the corner but Fenix struck back with a superkick.
Fenix tried to reach the top but Mariposa again held him, allowing Marty to hit an overhead superplex. Marty tried to remove the buckle pad but Fenix battled back and hit a springboard kick. Marty pulled his sister in front of him when Fenix went for a flip dive. A knocked-out Mariposa left the ringside after saying very bad words to her brother. An angry Marty countered a moonsault from Fenix with his boots and tried to rip his mask off. Marty connected with a powerbomb before slamming Fenix to the exposed buckle. A busted open Fenix poured more blood to a mat already red of the blood of Ivelisse. Marty licked his blood and hit a TKO.
Fenix tries to rally but Marty cut him off with a big boot. On the apron, Fenix hit a rolling cutter and a frog splash. Marty turned a springboard attempt into a dropkick, and continued with a double knee facebuster. Fenix battled back with a handspring cutter Marty turned inside out with a lariat. Marty reached the top rope, but Fenix followed him and hit a Spanish Fly. Marty struck again with a curb stomp. But Fenix kicked out again.
Marty got the scissors out of his lunchbox and tried to use them on Fenix’s face and throat but Melissa Santos rushed to the ring to stop him. Melissa told Marty she loves him, the situation was her fault and she will run away with him. As creepy as he can be, Marty understood Melissa’s game and grabbed her by the hair to bring her in the ring. But Santos replied with a slap a nice kick under the belt. Fenix was able to rally, hit a shining wizard to the back of Marty’s head, reached the top to hit a springboard 450 splash, Melissa helped him cover Marty for the win.
Very good match but Marty tried to escape his fate, the haircut. As he was climbing the stairs, Mariposa was waiting for him, hit him with a chair and handcuffed him to the barristers. She even brought the haircutting supplies to Fenix and Melissa who had the pleasure to shave him partially bald, to add shame to Marty’s loss.
With the level of hate the feud between Marty and Fenix has reached, we couldn’t expect anything else than a violent and complex match. Ultima Lucha Tres seems to be synonymous with blood. And to be honest, I like that. But doing a Battle Royal just to give The Mack a title match, not my cup of tea. This second part of Ultima Lucha Tres was not as insane as the first, but as strong as it. Can’t wait for the last 2 parts. Here are the matches we’ll have the chance to watch the next two weeks :
Part 3
* Trios Championship Match: The Reptile Tribe (Pindar, Vibora and Drago) w/ Kobra Moon & (c) vs. The Mack, Killshot & Dante Fox
* Gift of The Gods Title Ladder Match: Pentagon Dark vs. Son of Havoc
* Last Luchadora Standing Match: Taya vs. Sexy Star
Part 4
* Gauntlet Match: Cage vs. Mil Muertes vs. Jeremiah Crane
* Steel Cage Match: Dragon Azteca Jr. vs. The Monster Matanza Cueto
* Lucha Underground Title Match: Johnny Mundo (c) vs. Prince Puma
In 2 weeks, it will be time to say adios to Lucha Underground. Will it be a “come back soon” or a “final goodbye”? For the moment, nobody knows. But until next week, of course, hasta la vista!
