WWE confirmed on its website The Brian Kendrick sustained a broken nose and broken orbital bone during his match against Hideo Itami on RAW. The injuries occurred when Itami struck Kendrick with his signature Go-To-Sleep in the left eye and the inner aspect of the nose.

Dasha Fuentes reported the news yesterday night but the extent of the injuries needed to be confirmed. Something WWE Senior Ringside Physician Dr. Chris Amann confirmed today. If a fracture was suspected, the CT scan confirmed the diagnosis of an orbital wall fracture and a minimally displaced nasal bridge fracture.

There is currently no timetable for when Kendrick is expected to return to action because for the moment, the injury is considered as non-surgical. “We will be following it closely and making sure everything heals appropriately and that surgery’s not needed,” Amann said. Kendrick could be back in a few weeks, from 2 weeks to 2 months. If a surgery would be necesary, Kendrick could be out from 3 to 6 months.
