Jey Uso was arrested over the weekend in Hidalgo, Texas, here SmackDown Live held 2 house shows on Saturday and Sunday, for allegedly driving while intoxicated. The SmackDown Live Tag Team Champion was released the same day on Sunday as he was bonded out on a $500 personal recognizance bond shortly after being arrested. No more details are available for the moment.

Jey and his twin brother Jimmy were able to wrestle on Sunday night and retain the SmackDown Tag Team Titles over Aiden English & Rusev and The Bludgeon Brothers in a Triple Threat Match.

WWE issued the following statement yesterday night, before SmackDown Live: “Joshua Fatu is responsible for his own personal actions. We are investigating the matter and awaiting information from local law enforcement officials.”

The Usos appeared on SmackDown Live yesterday in a backstage segment to promote the 2 of 3 Falls Match against Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable at the Royal Rumble PPV. Gable and Benjamin attack them from behind and beat them down.
