Tenille Dashwood, formerly known as Emma in WWE, made her debut at yesterday night’s ROH Honor Reigns Supreme event and was announced as the final participant of the tournament to determine the first-ever Women of Honor Champion.

Dashwood thanked the crowd for the reception she got and said she’ll become the first-ever Women Of Honor Champion. But Bully Ray interrupted her introduction, stating that she needed to be in a match on her first night in Ring of Honor. She teamed up with Mandy Leon to defeat Stacy Shadows and Kelly Klein.

The Women of Honor tournament is a 16-woman, single-elimination quest for the Gold. The participants are coming from ROH, the independent scene, but also Japanese wrestling promotion Stardom.

The 16 women involved are Brandi Rhodes, Jessie Brooks, Karen Q, Kelly Klein, Madison Rayne, Mandy Leon, Deonna Purrazzo, Holidead, Sumie Sakai, Jenny Rose, Stacy Shadows, HZK, Hana Kimura, Kagetsu, Mayu Iwatani and Tenille Dashwood.

Since her release from WWE last October, Dashwood has been in high demand on the independent scene in her native country of Australia and in USA. She made her first post-WWE appearance last week when she faced Angelina Love at WrestlePro’s Brace for Impact show in New Jersey.
