The fruitful collaboration between NJPW and Ring of Honor has led to the build-up of 3 successful events: Global Wars taking place in USA around May, War of The Worlds reuniting NJPW, ROH but also CMLL in Mexico and Rev Pro in UK for a true worldwide wrestling experience. But since 2016, Honor Rising has been bringing the ROH roster to Tokyo, Japan, for a unique experience of 2 nights at The Korakuen Hall.

Honor Rising is taking place this year on February 23 and 24. The feud between Kenny Omega and Cody will be the centre of these events, but they won’t face in a one-on-one situation as that match is set for April 7 at ROH Supercard of Honor XII in New Orleans. While The Bullet Club is close to explosion, The Golden Lovers, Ibushi and Omega, are reunited. As NJPW say, “everyone involved will be looking for answers on February 23rd and 24th.”
