As it seems like Jeff Hardy is about to come back to WWE, as he’s said to be cleared by his doctors, Hardy was arrested on Saturday night for driving while impaired in Concord, North Carolina. Hardy was arrested after he was involved in a traffic crash, but was released the same night.

Hardy ran off the roadway and struck a guardrail, which caused his car to spin out into the middle of the right northbound lane. Hardy’s license has been suspended for 30 days, and he has a court date scheduled for April 16th. Hardy was not traveling over the speed limit.

The heart of the matter is that Hardy underwent some test for alcohol and TMZ is reporting his blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit. Jeff Hardy has two WWE Wellness policy violations which carried over with his return to the company last year. A third violation could result in the termination of his contract.

WWE issued the following statement on the arrest: “Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions. We are investigating the matter and awaiting information from local law enforcement officials.” Matt Hardy tweeted the following, referencing to his brother’s situation.
