Two years ago, Daniel Bryan was forced to say good-bye to what he loved the most, wrestling. Because of a long and complex past of concussions and brain issues, WWE asked him to retire. But Bryan has never lost faith and continued to be evaluated by as many doctors as possible.

And today, WWE announced Daniel Bryan is officially cleared to come back to the ring. He was cleared by each doctor as well as WWE’s Medical Director, Dr. Joseph Maroon. Just a few before WrestleMania 34, in the same New Orleans where he did the famous “Miracle” on Bourbon Street 4 years ago, Daniel Bryan could make a legendary comeback on The Grandest Stage of Them All.

Bryan’s last match was in April 2015, he was forced the month after and relinquish the Intercontinental Championship he won at WrestleMania 31. Bryan retired from competition in February 2016 in his hometown of Seattle, Washington. Later that same year, he became the colour commentator of the WWE Cruiserweight Classic Tournament alongside Mauro Ranallo and later the SmackDown Live General Manager.

Many thought Daniel Bryan has so many more to offer to the business his retirement was a no-sense. But Bryan had been working to get cleared for a while now, and has said that he would wrestle elsewhere when his WWE contract expires in September if he were healthy and WWE would not clear him. Now it’s just a matter of time for all of us and Daniel Bryan to scream “Yes! Yes! Yes!” in the arenas or in front of our televisions.
