IMPACT Wrestling and 5Spike in the UK have renewed their TV agreement. IMPACT will continue to air every Friday at 11pm on 5Spike in the UK, where fans can watch it for free. But the show will also now air without delay on the Global Wrestling Network (GWN) app for free, which means UK fans who want to watch it before it airs on 5Spike are now able.

UK fans could also watch it live, when it airs in the US (1am on Thursday night/Friday morning) or any time after that on demand, as part of the free tier of the app. All PPV and One Night Only events will also now be part of the subscription tier of the app, including the upcoming Redemption event.

Fans can subscribe to the app for $7.99 (under £6) and the first month is free. Subscribers also get more than 1,000 hours of classic content and original programming. More details on the network are available here.

If a TV taping session is planned from April 23 to 26 in Orlando, just after Redemption PPV, Impact Wrestling is already planning the next one. Like quoted by Impact Creatives Sonjay Dutt or Jimmy Jacobs in recent conference calls, the company was decided to conduct taping sessions more often, instead of one every three months like the last one.

On June 1 and 2, the company will do tapings at St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, in association with Border City Wrestling. BCW is operated by Impact Executive Vice-President Scott D’Amore. The most recent advertising is showing that Austin Aries’ opponents at Redemption, Lucha Underground Champion Pentagon Junior and Fénix, will be there. As well as former 2-time Knockouts Champion Winter.

The appearances of Pentagon Junior and Fénix are in a way cementing the partnership Lucha Underground and Impact Wrestling have been developing. No words yet on if the two Luchadores signed with the company or are just meant to make an appearance.

British wrestler Winter, formerly known as Katie Lee Burchill in WWE, hasn’t appeared in an Impact ring since 2012. She made her debut with Impact Wrestling in December 2010, as the new partner of Angelina Love. They won the TNA Knockouts Tag Team titles in her debut match. As a singles competitor, she captured the Knockouts title twice. Since her release, she has been working for indie promotions all over the world.
