Tokyo Sports announced that, for the first time ever, the new NJPW President is not Japanese. Harold Meij, former CEO of Japanese toy company TOMY, will be replacing Katsuhiko Harada.

Bushiroad President, a parent owner of NJPW, Takaaki Kidani decided to bring him into the wrestling fold. Meij is scheduled to begin his duties next month.

We announced the events on Twitter, but, as of today, the NJPW Strong Style Evolved UK events are not sold out yet.

NJPW is teaming up with Rev Pro to taking their Strong Style Evolved shows to the United Kingdom on June 30 in Milton Keynes’ Ice Arena and on July 1st in Manchester’s Altrincham Arena.

Rev Pro is known to hold a yearly Global Wars event which sees NJPW talent face off against some of the UK’s best wrestlers. No news yet on Rev Pro’s involvement as a brand and on if these events will be purely an NJPW based event. Tickets are available here.
