ROH Champion Dalton Castle was scheduled to defend his title against Matt Taven at War of the Worlds: Lowell, but he ended up cutting a promo about injuries piling up and needing time to heal. Castle is said to suffer from a broken hand and nagging back issues. ROH is hoping he could return to the ring before next month’s Best in the World PPV. He joined the commentary team yesterday night for the 10-Man main event in Chicago, between Bullet Club and Los Ingobernables de Japon.
