Dominion provides the stage for Omega and Okada to clash once again and features an unbelievably stacked card with some milestone title challenges and Chris Jericho challenging for a New Japan title in 2018.

IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship: Suzuki Gun (El Desperado & Yoshinobu Kanemaru) (c) vs Roppongi 3K (Sho & Yoh)

R3K get the jump on Suzuki Gun to start.  We get crowd brawling and a countout spot before Suzuki Gun settle for working over Yoh.  Quick tags and double team action until Yoh fires up and makes the hot tag to Sho.  Sho runs wild and hits spears and a rolling german.  The number game catches up with him but Yoh makes the save.  R3K work over Despy after taking Kanemaru out.  R3K look set to win after some miscommunication from Suzuki Gun but Desperado counters out of a Shock Arrow and we get a ref bump and Kanemaru hits him with the whiskey bottle for the win.

Winners: Suzuki Gun Rating: 5 out of 10

Juice Robinson & David Finlay vs CHAOS (Jay White & YOSHI-HASHI)

White attacks before the bell as we spill to the floor.  Juice regains control and he and Finlay work over White.  Jay white cuts off Finlay and he and Hashi work over Finlay.  Finlay makes the hot tag to Juice who fires up and hits jabs.  He and Finlay double team White who fights them off and tags Hashi in, All hell breaks loose as bodies are flying and guys are hitting moves.  Juice hits the Pulp Friction on White for the win.

Winners: Juice Robinson & David Finlay Rating: 4 out of 10

Suzuki Gun (Minoru Suzuki & Zack Sabre Junior) vs CHAOS ( Tomohiro Ishii & Toru Yano)

Ishii and Suzuki immediately strong style the hell out of each other right away.  ZSJ tags in and grounds the action.  Yano tags in and Suzuki Gun work him over.  Ishii gets the hot tag and again starts beating Suzuki up.  Both throw hard shots at each other until Yano and ZSJ tag in with Yano going for his comedy and ZSJ not having any of it.  Suzuki holds off Ishii as ZSJ submits Yano.

Winners: Suzuki Gun Rating: 6 out of 10

NEVER Openweight Championship: Hirooki Goto (c) vs Taichi vs Michael Elgin

Frantic action with all three involved from the start.  The two bigger guys throw suplexes.  Goto and Taichi are brawling on the floor AND ELGIN WIPES THEM OUT WITH A TOPE.  Again all three are in with Elgin hitting a clothesline before falling to a Suplex by Goto.  Pants are off. We are at the point now where one guy will take a powder and allow the other two go at it.  Elgin and Goto are trading as we head for the finish when Taichi has his valet distract the ref and he hits his opponents with his mic stand.  Great near fall Taichi on Goto and Elgin is back up to powerbomb Taichi onto Goto before putting him away with the Elgin Bomb.  Constant action with some cool three-way interactions.  I’m not chuffed about Elgin winning but personal life aside he is a good choice for the NEVER champion.

Winner: Michael Elgin Rating: 6 out of 10

IWGP Tag Team Championship: Los Ingobernables de Japon (EVIL & SANADA) (c) vs Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson)

SANADA and Nick start.  Bucks take over and double team SANADA.  Nick hits a dive on EVIL.  EVIL is first back in and helps SANADA work over Matt.  They fight on the floor and SANADA hits a moonsault on Matt.  Matt is playing the face in peril excellently as usual.  Nick gets the hot tag and runs wild and a bulldog/clothesline combo on team all-caps.  EVIL cuts him off and starts to work him over.  Matt accidentally superkicks Nick and gets taken out leaving Nick alone to fight off LIJ.  Matt makes the save and takes SANADA up top as we get the Tower Of Doom.  Bodies again fly everywhere as this one has well and truly broken down.  All four men are in and out and there’s tonnes of interruptions and double teams.  The Young Bucks clear house with Superkicks and hit More Bang For Your Buck on SANADA for the win.  Nonstop action and a really fun match.

Winners: The Young Bucks Rating: 7 out of 10

Rey Mysterio, Jushin Liger & Hiroshi Tanahashi vs Bullet Club (Cody, Adam Page & Marty Scurll)

Tanahashi and Page start slowly.  Bullet club work over Tanahashi until he gets the hot tag to Mysterio who works with Scurll.  Liger tags in and the three work over Scurll.  Bullet Club makes the save and start to work over Liger.  Good heel stuff with quick tags and knocking the partners off the ropes.  Liger eventually makes the hot tag to Rey who comes in hot.  Page tags in and he and Tanahashi work with each other again.  Cody and Liger tag in and Liger tries to finish.  Match breaks down as Tanahashi and Rey take out Scurll and Page.  Liger hits a top rope Rana but Cody quickly transitions into the Cross Rhodes for the win.

Winners: Bullet Club Rating: 5 out of 10

IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship: Will Ospreay (c) vs Hiromu Takahashi

Right out of the gate they are attempting murder.  We go up the ramp and they try to kill each other, Ospreay hits a running Tope Con Giro off the ramp and proceeds to lift the mat from ringside.  Takahashi breaks the move and Ospreay gives up on that one (phew).  We slow it down with Ospreay working over Takahashi.  Takahashi fires up and hits some signature offence and a Missile Dropkick off the apron.  Senton for 2.  Ospreay gets back into it and hits a flying forearm.  Reversals leading to a Sasuke Special from Ospreay, Oscutter reversed into a German.  They trade forearms, we kick into high gear with high paced reversals, reverse frankensteiners and an attempted Storm Breaker reversal into a Sunset Flip Powerbomb.  Great action!  On the apron they trade shots again, Ospreay gets the advantage and hits an outside-in top rope suplex.  Rope hung 450 and a beautiful RedArrowo (a nod to the King?) for 2.  Storm Breaker again reversed into a Canadian Destroyer.  HIROMU LOCKS HIM IN THE D. Ospreay powers up and dumps Takahashi on his head OUCH!.  Oscutter reversed into the Sunset flip powerbomb ONTO THE CONCRETE.  Ospreak kicks Takahashi’s head off.  Storm Breaker reversed into the D.  Butterfly Piledriver, Buckle Bomb, Crowd firing up, TIME BOMBBBBB for the win HIROMU AND BELT-SAN ARE ONE AGAIN.  Absolute insanity.

Winner: Hiromu Takahashi Rating: 8 out of 10

IWGP Intercontinental Championship: Tetsuya Naito (c) vs Chris Jericho

Jericho rocking the black lipstick and some Circus inspired face paint.  You can almost see the charisma bouncing around with these two.  Jericho gets the jump and they brawl into the crowd.  Suplex onto the concrete by Jericho.  Jericho throws a tripod at a grounded Naito.  He sets up a table.  POWERBOMB THROUGH THE TABLE.  Jericho takes an NJPW camera and flips off Naito.  I love this man.  He takes him up onto the announcer’s table.  DDT ONTO THE TABLE IT DIDNT EVEN BREAK.  Naito is still in his suit.  The bell finally rings.  Naito tries and fails to power up and eats a Lionsault for 2.  Jericho chokes Naito out in every way possible.  Classic heeling from Jericho.  NAITO SPITS RIGHT IN HIS FACE and fires up, Neckbreaker onto the apron and another from the apron to the floor.  Naito finally loses the suit and proceeds to choke Jericho out with his trousers.  Naito beats Jericho with part of the table as boos rain down.  Back into the crowd and NAITO PILEDRIVES JERICHO ONTO THE ANNOUNCE DESK.  Top rope hurricanrana reversed into the Walls of Jericho.  Naito rolls through and a springboard sends him to the second rope and he jumps into a hurricanrana.  Rope-assisted DDT for 2.  Jericho locks in the Walls of Jericho again.  Naito craaaaawwwlllss to the ropes.  Destino for 2.  Naito fights fire with fire as his real Heel side makes an apperance.  Jericho manages to hit a Codebreaker for 2.  Naito winds up but Jericho reverses the Destino and shoves the ref.  Low Blow.  Codebreaker and Jericho wins! CHRIS JERICHO HAS WON AN IWGP TITLE IN 2018!

Winner: Chris Jericho Rating: 7 out of 10

Post-match: Jericho continues the attack hitting Naito with the title and whipping him EVIL comes down and fights Jericho off and takes his head off with a lariat.  Is EVIL the next challenger for Jericho?

IWGP Heavyweight Championship: Kazuchika Okada (c) w/Gedo vs Kenny Omega w/Kota Ibushi

Here we go.  They tie up and we get the usual grappling and posturing.  Okada goes for his crossbody over the barricade BUT HE GETS CAUGHT IN THE AIR WITH A V-TRIGGER.  Omega then slams him onto the barricade.  Omega works over the back, After some back and forth Okada is sent into the crows and Omega springboards into the crowd and destroys Okada with a crossbody.  This has been all Omega so far.  Okada fights back and Tombstones Omega on the apron.  Okada with a dropkick and Omega lands rib first on the barricade and gets winded.  We get into counter city as both are looking for the kill, Okada goes for a rainmaker but rolls Omega up for three as we get our first fall 29 minutes in.

After a two minute break Omega tries to fly out of the gate but Okada is dominating, action spills to the floor and Omega puts a table on Okada and hits a double foot stomp.  Table gets set up and they are back inside.  The two know each other too well as neither man can get an edge with counter after counter.  Omega looks to German Okada through the table from the apron but Okada fights him off, he transitions into a dragon suplex but thankfully Okada breaks out but Omega hits him with a reverse Rana.  This leads to, guessed it, a 19 count.  Omega keeps trying for the One-Winged Angel and Okada looks for the Rainmaker but neither man can hit their big finish.  50 minutes un and Omega hits the One-Winged Angel to tie the scores.

Omega smells blood in the water and looks to put Okada away right from the off, similar to their G1 Climax match, but Okada counters into a Rainmaker.  After this Omega is out on his feet as both men start selling the exhaustion.  Okada goes for a Rana but Omega REVERSES INTO A STYLES CLASH for 2.  Omega collapses on a One-Winged Angel attempt but finds the power to go again, Okada counters and Kenny hits a Gotch Piledriver for 2.  Ibushi calls Omega over and gives him instruction, Omega makes his way up top and goes for a Phoenix Splash but misses allowing Okada to hit another Dropkick, Omega counters the tombstone attempt and fires some V-Triggers.  From this point, Okada hits a Rainmaker but just falls to the ground unable to capitalize.  Both are completely spent as they fire weak shots at each other.  Okada tries to hit a trio of Rainmakers but Omega counters the last into a German and we get a sequence where both men hit German Suplexes on one another.  Reverse Rana by Omega who’s V-Trigger attempt is reversed by a dropkick.  Rainmaker attempt countered into the One Winger Angel but Omega cannot capitalize this time.  They are down side by side on the ropes as they each try desperately to drag themselves up.  Omega is up first and smashes Okada with a V-Trigger, One Winged Angel connects again and that is it Omega wins in 70 minutes.  This was a war and both men sold it as one, they knew each other inside out and that lead to counter after counter.  A beautiful match that again blew me away.

Winner: Kenny Omega Rating: 10 out of 10

As always Dominion proved a newsworthy and worthwhile show.  Highly Recommend watching the show.
