The match was announced just a few hours after Best in The World went off-air. Dalton Castle who succeeded in retaining the ROH World Championship during the PPV was set to defend the title against Cody, Matt Taven and Jay Lethal at ROH Excellence Fairfax TV Tapings. And surprise came from Jay Lethal who became a 2-time ROH World CHampion in Fairfax. Castle and Lethal shook hands after the match.

It is possible Castle will take some time off to heal the nagging injuries he has been suffering for months. He already took a few weeks off recently but it seems like it wasn’t enough. If the match is set to air on TV at a later point in time, it was streamed on demand yesterday for Honor Club members.
