After its triumphant return to ITV late July for a 10-part series, World of Sports Wrestling will go back on Tour in early 2019 in some of the most iconic British venues, “back where it all began!” The opening programme brought in 1.2 million viewers making it the highest-rated British wrestling TV show in over 30 years.

Following its huge success, the fans will have the chance to see the WOS roster live in the ring for the first time in decades. WOS Wrestling announced a nine-date UK tour for January/February 2019. The tour will visit intimate venues across the UK that are steeped in wrestling history. Here are the dates and venues:

Friday 18 January – Southampton O2, Guildhall
Saturday 19 January – Newport Centre
Sunday 20 January – Bournemouth International Centre
Friday 25 January – Stoke Victoria Hall
Saturday 26 January – Blackpool Tower Ballroom
Sunday 27 January – Aberdeen AECC
Friday 01 February – Scarborough Spa Grand Hall
Saturday 02 February – Northampton Derngate
Sunday 03 February – London York Hall

By bringing the Saturday evening entertainment to the live stage, this tour will pay homage to the original WOS Wrestling – British wrestling at its best. A family-friendly entertainment with highly anticipated battles and maximum action is expected from some of the UK’s top wrestling talent who will compete in a fun-filled, exciting show for all the family to enjoy.

The full line up will be announced in the coming weeks but it promises to be a stacked roster of some of the biggest names in the sport, like Will Ospreay, Bea Priestley, Grado, Viper or British Bulldog Jr. Tickets go on sale Friday 7th September at 10 AM on http://gigst.rs/WOS.
