World Tag league is really starting to get into the swing of things but here we are in the middle of the house show loop so we could be about to see a notable drop in quality. It must be said before we begin, whoever decided to add the tracking shot entrances and more than just the one static-cam for these shows, thank you. You’ve really earned your Yen. Anyway, on with the show:

Best Matches:

Best Friends vs Yoshida & Umino (Day 5) – A showdown between two of the highlights of the league. Yoshida and Umino continue to convince that they could win a match. Who knows, maybe one day they will? Till then, I will never not be delighted by Best Friends.

FinJuice vs Cobb & Elgin (Day 5) – Good, zippy fun with all four delivering but Cobb & Elgin particularly impressing with good co-op offence, their powerbomb-backstabber combo looked particularly painful. Just solid tag wrestling.

CHAOS vs Killer Elite Squad (Day 6) – It started off slowly but built to a really fun closing stretch, plus any Ishii big boy action is better than none.

Worst Matches:

Suzuki-Gun vs Manabu Nakanishi & Yuji Nagata (Day 5) – There was a time when I used to believe that hope was rewarded. Then I saw a Takashi Lizuka match.

The Elite? vs Suzuki-Gun and TenCozy v Guerillas of Destiny  (Day 6) – Neither of these matches were precisely ‘bad’ so to speak but also, I don’t remember a single thing about them beyond ZSJ being a beautiful bastard as always. How that man isn’t holding all the belts I’ll never know.
