All Elite Wrestling received backlash from several wrestling fans regarding the sexual orientation and gender of recently added athletes to the promising promotion (recently signed wrestler Sonny Kiss is openly gay and has never hidden it). However, the striving wrestling promotion advised their plans regarding the protection and support of their talent.

AEW Executive Vice President Cody The American Nightmare advised that they stand by their matches which received high praises from the fandom.

A small public statement from All Elite Wrestling was released on twitter by Chief Brand Officer Brandi Rhodes regarding the comments and issues.

“As we look ahead to Las Vegas, let’s take this opportunity to make it clear that AEW is totally inclusive. We fully support and celebrate all our athletes, and all of our fans, regardless of their sexual orientation, race, gender, religion or ethnicity. Period. A safe, inclusive, respectful and very cool environment will be central to everything we do at AEW. Be who you are and come as you are. Because we’re all going to come together as a community to change the world.”

All Elite Wrestling has made it clear about the respectful decision of their matches for Double or Nothing. The promotion will fully respect and lionize all their athletes regardless of public whiplash. The encouraging wrestling promotion is elevating the wrestling fandom to come together as a community to make wrestling for everyone.
