WWE.com revealed that the company will be continuing its string of controversial Saudi Arabia shows with a return planned on June 7th. The show will take place at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah.

The show has not been named yet but will be hosted in co-operation with the Saudi General Sports Authority. This will be the third show to take place in the country following The Greatest Royal Rumble and Crown Jewel last year.

Goldberg's last appearance as Universal Champion

Amongst those announced for the show are familiar faces like new WWE Champion Kofi Kingston, Roman Reigns, Universal Champion Seth Rollins, Braun Strowman and AJ Styles. However there are also returning big names like The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar also announced for the show.

The biggest announcement was Bill Goldberg being among the names of those taking part. This will be his first match back since calling it a day after his series with Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 33.

WWE’s full statement can be found here:

The Saudi General Sports Authority, in partnership with WWE, will host an event at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Friday, June 7, at 8 p.m. AST. The event will feature WWE Superstars Roman Reigns, Undertaker, Kofi Kingston, Braun Strowman, Seth Rollins, Goldberg, AJ Styles and Brock Lesnar, and stream live on WWE Network.”

Goldberg's Signature Spear

This will be the second time WWE have brought back a retired or semi-retired star for a Saudi Arabia show as they had previously brought back Shawn Michaels for Crown Jewel.

The unnamed show will be the third of a ten-year contract made with the Saudi Arabian Sports Authority.

It’ll be interesting to see if anyone misses this show after Daniel Bryan and John Cena refused to appear at Crown Jewel last year. Due to his Syrian roots, Sami Zayn has never been allowed to be a part of those shows.

The show will be streamed at 6 PM BST on the WWE Network on June 7th.
