All Elite Wrestling announced today that they have signed former ECW World Champion and former ROH World Champion Jerry Lynn to work as a Coach. Lynn is a 30+ year veteran of the business who has worked for WWE, WCW, ECW, TNA, ROH and others. He retired from the ring in March 2013, 25 years to the day after his first match.

Lynn reacted to the news on Twitter and wrote, “I’m privileged to be a part of AEW!!!” No official word has been made of Lynn’s status with ROH, regarding a departure. Jerry is the first person to have signed officially as a coach by AEW. Though there are other stars in the company who people believe will be working in a similar capacity too, including Christopher Daniels and Billy Gunn.

The Young Bucks also appeared at a Bar Wrestling show to announce they signed referee Rick Knox. Lynn and Knox both took part in All In last September as referees. PWG and Lucha Underground are among the promotions that Knox has refereed for. The announcement of Knox signing with AEW was made at Bar Wrestling’s show in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday night, with SoCal Uncensored noting that Knox will be the referee for The Young Bucks’ AAA Tag Team title defence against Pentagon Jr. & Fenix at Double or Nothing in Las Vegas on May 25.

Former Lucha Underground wrestlers Angélico and Jack Evans are said to have signed a deal with All Elite Wrestling. The 32-year-old South African wrestler’s signing should be announced soon, despite Angélico teasing his signing in two tweets over the past 24 hours. The first said, “Is it time for a change?” The second said, “Tomorrow. A decision that will change my life and career.”

Angélico isn’t coming alone though as Jack Evans was also announced in the video above as a new member of AEW. In the tweet, we can hear Evans ask Angélico if he’s ready. Angélico responded, “The real question is, are they ready for us?”

Last time we heard about Angélico was last year when he announced he parted ways with Lucha Underground, and so was not participating in Season 4. He also left Lucha Libre AAA by the end of 2017 to relocate to Spain and be more involved in the European Wrestling scene. Angélico has recently worked in Japan, Australia, Mexico, Québec, Germany, UK, France, Switzerland, Ireland, and Spain.

Angélico is described as having an aerial assault that is exciting by many fans standards. He possesses a solid, athletic frame and is taller than your normal Cruiserweight. He has found most of his success as a tag specialist but can handle singles duties as well.

Since parting ways with Lucha Underground at the same time than Angélico, Jack Evans has been working with AAA. Evans and Angélico are former 3-time AAA World Tag Team Championship. The two might reform their team as Los Güeros del Cielo in AEW.
