WWE have announced that Alexa Bliss is out of the Women’s Money in the Bank (MITB) Ladder match, taking place this Sunday at Money in The Bank PPV. Her reason for exclusion is that she has not been medically cleared to compete in the match, even if a new concussion is said to be the real reason.
In a statement, the company announced Bliss was out and claimed a suitable replacement for Alexa will be announced in due time.
Judging by how RAW went this week, this replacement would most likely be Nikki Cross as the pair worked together in a match between fellow MITB match competitors Natalya, Naomi and Dana Brooke.
Thankfully, the WWE Universe did not have long to wait as WWE announced, via its YouTube Channel, that Nikki Cross would, in fact, be replacing Bliss in the MITB ladder match.
This would be the second replacement to the match as Dana Brooke was said to have been brought in to replace Sasha Banks.
Alexa Bliss has only recently come back to in-ring competition after suffering a concussion at a house show late last year. From there, she was put into a more personality driven role whilst she recovered.
