Here we are from Full Sail University again as another high profile commodity in the NXT brand make their departure, I’m Scott Hammond and this is NXT.

The War Raiders were out to start this week’s NXT and Rowe said that they’ve moved to RAW to raid there. He then said that there was nobody on the roster to challenge them and he then called out General Manager William Regal. Regal came out but before he could say anything, people pulled out their beer pong cups because here came the Street Profits. I have to admit, they are growing on me. Montez Ford washed out his ear because he thought he heard the Raiders said that nobody could challenge them. Dawkins then mentioned that they took the fight to the War Raiders a couple of weeks ago and although they didn’t win, the Raiders realised that the Profits could beat them. Ford then chimed in with ‘if that is your real name’. I popped for that. The Raiders told Regal to make the match later for the tag team titles and both teams left to end the segment. Good start.

Outside of Full Sail, the Undisputed Era are standing by a barrier sans Roderick Strong. The interviewer asked where Strong was and Adam Cole said he didn’t know, but Adam Cole is the leader of the Undisputed Era. At this point, medical personnel run past Cole to go somewhere off camera, and Strong shows up, sweating. He said the Era are stronger together and says Matt Riddle is taken care of. What next? They all walk off together.

Cezar Bononi vs Keith Lee

Great to see Lee back, NXT needs him. Lee starts by showcasing his power with a shoulder block, and followed it up with a huge chop to Bononi in the corner. Bononi retaliated with a knee to the face, and tried to run off the ropes but Lee caught his foot. Lee pushed him into the corner and hit a nasty looking running forearm, and then transitioned into the pounce. He hit the Spirit Bomb on Bononi for the pinfall victory.

Winner: Keith Lee

The Forgotten Sons were backstage next headed to Regal’s office, and they are going to talk to him about not forgetting about them, with Ryker finishing off saying ‘you don’t forget us’. As hard as I try, trust me, I can’t.

Kona Reeves vs KUSHIDA

Both men start with decent transitional mat wrestling. KUSHIDA works into two deep arm drags, and as he does, Drew Gulak comes out to the stage to watch the match. KUSHIDA hit a running hurricanrana on Reeves, who quickly recovered to hit a scoop slam into the corner turnbuckle. Reeves then hit a knee to the face and followed up quickly with a snap suplex. KUSHIDA recovered on the ring apron and hit an enziguri, followed by a springboard chop on Reeves. He got to his feet quickly and hit a handspring back elbow, and then followed up with a cartwheel basement dropkick. Reeves retreated to the outside, but KUSHIDA ascended to the top rope and hit a rolling senton. He pushed Reeves back in, applied the Hoverboard Lock and got the tapout victory.

Winner: KUSHIDA

Gulak looked unimpressed as he retreated to the back.

Bianca Belair was backstage and she ran into Mia Yim. Yim said she got a rematch with Belair from Regal and she was going to handle her business.

Matt Riddle was backstage getting his ribs taped up, and was talking with NXT Champion Johnny Gargano. Gargano was asked by the interviewer how Riddle was doing. He said he’s going to be okay but he’s one angry bro and the Era aren’t going to like it. Gargano said he knew that he has a target on his back and he went to William Regal who approved his request of a match at NXT: TakeOver XXV for the NXT Championship against Adam Cole.

Vanessa Bourne vs Jessie

Jessie looks like she’s ready for the beach, not a wrestling match. Bourne took Jessie to the floor and then began hitting her with stomps that looked really weak. Not good at all. She then took Jessie to the corner and hit her with forearms. Bourne then took off the ropes and hit a really bad looking dropkick. Bourne then guillotined Jessie across the middle rope, but Jessie recovered enough to hit a spinning heel kick. This didn’t last long though as Bourne headbutted Jessie and hit a twisting neckbreaker for the pinfall victory.

Winner: Vanessa Bourne 

Good Lord, that was bad. Jessie’s one offensive move looked more polished than anything Bourne came up with.

Its going to be Io Sharai vs Shayna Baszler for the NXT Women’s title at NXT TakeOver: XXV.

NXT Tag Team Championship Match: War Raiders (c) vs Street Profits

Rowe hit a dropkick on Dawkins immediately as the bell rang, who then tagged in Montez Ford, but he was met with a ripcord knee to the face. Hanson tagged in and the Raiders went for the flapjack powerslam, but Dawkins interfered and hit a spear on Rowe. Hanson then took out Ford with a huge boot to the face, before Dawkins got in the ring and both men performed dueling cartwheels. As Hanson returned to his feet he was met with a big spinebuster by Dawkins. Ford then ascended to the top rope and hit an impressive frog splash for a two count. Rowe tagged himself in and put Dawkins in a rest hold to try and slow down the pace but before they could, the Forgotten Sons ran to ringside and beat on Rowe, causing a disqualification

Winners: War Raiders (by disqualification)

After the match, the Profits and the Raiders tried to fend off the Forgotten Sons, but Danny Birch and Oney Lorcan ran to the ring and all four teams began brawling. The War Raiders cleared the ring, but Hanson was pulled the outside, which gave the Street Profits the time to hit Rowe with the electric chair blockbuster. They escaped the ring and ran backstage. This infuriated the War Raiders who took out Lorcan and Birch with the flapjack powerslam. The War Raiders then took their NXT Tag Team Titles, and laid them in the ring, I assume to relinquish them. The show went off the air with the War Raiders soaking in the adulation of the Full Sail crowd.

A lot to digest this week. It felt like they were trying to fit ten pounds into a five-pound bag. The Raiders leaving is another hit to a brand that already is dealing with multiple call ups, and right now, aside from the Street Profits, there is no one to fill their shoes.
