Two new talents have been revealed to be entrants in the AEW “Double or Nothing” Casino Battle Royale. One of which was revealed in the latest Being the Elite episode and the other on AEW’s Twitter.

The first entrant is Luchasaurus who appeared on the new Being the Elite episode as support to Jungle Boy. He was holding Jungle Boy on his shoulders during a conversation with the Young Bucks about Jungle Boy being old enough to enter a casino so they had him enter the match too. Both he and Jungle Boy picked their cards but revealed nothing.

Most people will recognise Luchasaurus from the indie circuit but he is currently signed to ROH and competed in Lucha Underground under the name Vibora.

The second entrant is former WWE Talent Tye Dillinger, real name Shawn Spears. Spears appeared on a Twitter video where he drew the 10 Card to be entered into the Battle Royale. He even comments on the draw, “When the odds are stacked, always bet on you.”

Dillinger was released by WWE in February after requesting said release. He was a fan favourite in NXT but failed to make a decent splash on the main roster after making an appearance at the #10 spot in the 2017 Royal Rumble and being called up later that year on the SmackDown Live brand.

In an interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated about the move to AEW, Spears had this to say, “I’m coming to AEW because I believe in what they are doing. This is now the platform to do give people exactly what they want, and I am really looking forward to proving myself in AEW.”

In the latest episode and finale of The Road to Double or Nothing, it was announced who will be the first contenders for the AEW World Championship. The first will be the winner of the Casino Battle Royale on this Saturday’s The Buy-In pre-show. The other will be the winner of Kenny Omega vs. Chris Jericho. No news on when the two contenders will compete for the title.

The following wrestlers have been announced so far for the Casino Battle Royale: Sonny Kiss, Brandon Cutler, Ace Romero, Brian Pillman Jr., Glacier, Sunny Daze, MJF, Joey Janela, Dustin Thomas, Billy Gunn, Jimmy Havoc, Michael Nakazawa, Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus, Private Party, and Shawn Spears.
