Newly crowned US champion Rey Mysterio has revealed through Instagram that he has been suffering from a separated AC Joint in his left shoulder. In the video, he talked of having trouble lifting his arm. He is also seen receiving treatment for the injury as he blamed the multiple Uranage he took from Joe as the main reason for his limited motion.

Mysterio was not seen on this week’s RAW after winning the US Title in controversial fashion at Money in the Bank. Rey won with a hurricanrana despite Joe’s shoulder being up, since Joe’s nose got busted during the match.

There was a video on RAW from Joe threatening Rey to show up and give him the title, but no sign of Rey.

However, he has been announced for this week’s RAW where he will address the injury and the future of the US Title.

With an AC separation, it can vary on how long it takes to heal and if surgery is required. Until more is known, we can only estimate that Rey could be out from anywhere between 2 weeks and 3 months.
