A statement from wwe.com revealed that a tryout took place in WWE UK Performance Centre, in London, featuring 18 of the top women’s talent in the UK and European scene. The tryout was run by NXT General Manager William Regal, NXT trainer Sarah Stock, NXT UK referees, and other members of the WWE and NXT UK staff and roster. UK Wrestling legend James Mason was also there to assist.

Below is a full list of names of those who took part. WWE used a lot of real names but we will use their wrestling names so they are more recognisable.
From the list, you can see there are a lot of names and current champions from promotions around the country. It should be noted though that just because they are at a tryout does not mean that they will sign with the company.

– Session Moth Martina – Star in OTT, the US and Japan as a member of STARDOM stable, Oedo Tai

– Candy Floss – Independent star who has been seen in NXT UK, Resurgence and plenty of other promotions

– Shax – Another independent star who has worked in multiple promotions

– Jokey the Clown/Aivil – Most UK residents will recognise her for her work in ICW

– Heather Schofield – Began training began at Marty Jones’ Squared Circle Wrestling Academy in Manchester last year

– Valkyrie – Current OTT Women’s Champion

– Steph De Lander – Australia’s Python Powerhouse

– Jamie Hayter – Recently seen in NXT UK and current STARDOM star

– Kanji – Another independent star and high-flyer seen in Defiant Wrestling, Resurgence and others

– Gisele Shaw – Lance Storm trainee seen at ATTACK, Wrestle Gate Pro and recently at Fight Club Pro

– Rhio – Has been a Women’s Champ for Preston City Wrestling and Tidal Wrestling

– Debbie Keitel – Powerlifter who began her training three years ago and has since learned under the likes of England’s Marty Jones and Japan’s Emi Sakura.

– Mariah May Mead– Started training in January 2018 and made her in-ring debut earlier this year.

– Jayde – Seen around the country and held titles for APEX and HOPE Wrestling

– Raven Creed – Has been wrestling for five years in Ireland and the U.K. even if being 20.

– Jessica Light – NXT UK Tag Team Champions Grizzled Young Veterans’ Fighting Spirit Wrestling School trainee

– Dani Luna – Current Dragon Pro Wrestling Women’s Champ

– Mercedez Blaze – Independent wrestler who competes on the U.K. indie scene
