It’s time for another roundup of All Elite Wrestling (AEW) news. Firstly, we have had the announcement that the Dark Order have signed with AEW. The team of Evil Uno and Stu Grayson (who many may know as the Super Smash Bros) cut a chilling video promo laying out their intentions for the tag division whilst surrounded by their “creepers.”
The Dark Order first made their presence known at Double or Nothing where they attacked the Best Friends and Angelico and Jack Evans. They even turned the crowd’s “Who are you?” chants into part of the video promo.

It’s not too clear who they will be going for first but they have announced their arrival and we’ll just have to see which team they try to take out first.

Secondly, the AEW and TNT Twitter accounts have been in full-on teasing mode as they have potentially revealed two projects that may be in the works for the company. The first was a proposed release method for Double or Nothing as the AEW Twitter account held a poll on if they want DVDs or Blu-Rays.

The second was teased via TNT as they posted a tweet of an All Elite Wrestling game cover in the style of a Nintendo 64 case. Wrestling fans with gaming knowledge may remember that WWE’s most successful classic game, No Mercy, came out on the Nintendo 64.
Whilst AEW are fans of ribs and if these tweets are legitimate, then AEW is really trying to start off strong in the merchandising game. These announcements would give them a solid hold in the entertainment market as well as the live show market. Plus there is the ever-looming threat of the Dark Order on the AEW horizon.

Then, about Fyter Fest, the upcoming AEW PPV that will air for free on B/R live, while a new video promo was released, hyping up the official AEW in-ring debut of Jon Moxley, Chris Jericho is letting think he won’t be a part of the PPV. If Jericho is scheduled to face “Hangman” Adam Page at AEW’s All Out in a match that will crown the first-ever AEW World Heavyweight Champion, he has never been scheduled for a match at Fyter Fest.
On his Twitter, Jericho wrote: “In protest of @KennyOmegamanX, @CodyRhodes, @NickJacksonYB & @MattJackson13’s foolish decision to give the #FyterFest live stream away to @AEWrestling fans for free, I am pulling out of the event. I refuse to be associated w such shameless pandering.” He added, replying to an AEW Twitter message: “Wow aren’t you guys sweet. Now where is my thank you? #stillwaiting.”
